Sunny Days

Laying low to build

Life in Breck

I went up the Gondola with an Argentinian guy from Patagonia last week.

It was great to talk to him about the culture and politics there vs here, and sad to hear his recap of what happened to their country and culture with the government they’ve had for so long.

However, they’re on the up now and he was stoked because the future looks bright for their country, but it’ll take a few years to get back in order.

He’s a Doctor out here in Summit now.

Funny how it looks almost just like Patagonia here, I guess I’ll have to do a summer comparison in the future.

The adjustment to being back and settled in The States has been smooth, getting our lives back in orders part of them fun.

Kate started coaching Team Summit and CU Freeskiing, it’s a pretty sweet job and she gets paid to go skiing all over the mountain on the weekends… Definitely beats my time as an instructor..!

I’ve mainly been locking myself inside working, it’s been productive and a big push right now for the end of year.

Of course I’ve been sneaking out to get some laps in though, new mountain for me and it’s been fun to explore as the slowly open it…

It helps put me in a flow state when I can get some early morning runs in and then make it back by 11 to work the rest of the day!

I don’t have much to say today, gotta get back to building right now!

Cheers,

Me
